Over the summer I got to experience a wonderful trip to Arkansas. It included trips to Browns Canyon, Arkansas River. I also went to Salida in Colorado. The trip was eventful and unique. I spent a lot of time in the rivers kayaking, canoeing and rafting.
The Browns Canyon was my favorite place. I went on a full day river tour, which included whitewater rafting, followed by peaceful calm waters then ending with powerful waves and currents. I also enjoyed the Arkansas River. I loved to kayak while enjoying the nature and animals around me. The history of the river interested me greatly.
I spent about a week in Colorado. I went to a city called Salida. It was a beautiful city and had huge mountains and rivers. I got to witness a wreck while I was kayaking, it was into the river, it was crazy! Overall, I loved this vacation tremendously!
